Sail Malta, Gozo, Sicily

This is a sailing trip. Not a floating holiday. Not a party boat. If you want to spend a week actually sailing — learning, improving, and covering real miles across some of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful waters — this is for you.

Bongani and Seawolf sail together out of Valletta, with Ruth skippering Bongani and Rich skippering Seawolf. Up to ten guests across both boats.

There is no fixed itinerary. Every morning starts with a look at the forecast and a conversation about where to go next. Typical destinations include Gozo, Marina di Ragusa, Marzamemi, Syracuse, Catania and Taormina — but the wind and sea state decide. We sail as much as possible, as far as conditions allow. Most evenings are spent in a marina — time to stretch your legs, explore a new town, and find somewhere good to eat. The boats are for sailing, and the comfort is below deck.

These are limited edition race boats, with limited water, fuel and fridge space, all efficiently utilised. Everything is considered, nothing is wasted. That is not a compromise — it is the point.

On board, you’ll learn as much or as little as you want. Tacking, gybing, hoisting sails, trimming for speed — the skippers will teach as you go, and by the end of the week most guests are genuinely contributing to the boat. Some arrive as beginners, most leave wanting to return.

Week trips run across our sailing season. Two week options are available on request. Join by the cabin, or secure a whole boat.

Skipper included. Fuel, food, and marinas are additional and managed as a shared kitty on board. Flights and accommodation before and after are not included.

Bookings are by enquiry only.
